The Play Way Invites Volunteers to Spread Kindness Through Play November 11

Friday, Nov 06

Join The Play Way for a community PlayDay on Wednesday, November 11, at the Wilshire/La Brea and Wilshire/Fairfax Metro stations. Volunteers will welcome passersby, invite them to participate in games, and help create unexpected moments of kindness and connection.

Founded by Lyndsie Zacheis, The Play Way brings playful activities into everyday places across Los Angeles. No performance or content creation is expected—just curiosity, openness and a willingness to make someone’s day.

When: Wednesday, November 11, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Volunteers arrive at 11 a.m.; play begins at 11:11 a.m.
Where: Wilshire/La Brea or Wilshire/Fairfax Metro stations, Los Angeles. The Fairfax station is next to the Petersen Automotive Museum and across from LACMA.
Volunteer registration: Sign up here.
Contact: Lyndsie Zacheis at (213) 706-7529 or [email protected].

The Play Way holds official PlayDays on the 11th of each month. Its next event is December 11, with time and location to be announced. Organizations, businesses, schools and community groups can also request a PlayDate.
