In light of Government Code sections 54953(e)(1) and 54953(e)(3), the Governor's Executive Order N-21-21 (November 10, 2021), concerns over Covid-19, and the determinations of the commissioners on April 20, 2022, this meeting will be accessible telephonically.

   All public comment will be taken at this time for agenda items. THIS WILL BE THE ONLY OPPORTUNITY TO PROVIDE PUBLIC COMMENT DURING THIS MEETING.

3. Findings to continue teleconference meetings pursuant to AB 361.

Determination that the state of emergency due to the Covid-19 pandemic, as originally

proclaimed by the Governor on March 4, 2020, remains active; that, consistent with

findings made by the City Council on October 6, 2021, the Covid-19 pandemic remains a

significant challenge in the City of Los Angeles; that local officials continue to impose or

recommend measures to promote social distancing; and that, in accordance with

California Government Code section 54953(e)(3), the Ethics Commission has

reconsidered the circumstances of the state of emergency and determines that the state

of emergency continues to directly impact the ability of the commissioners to meet safely

in person.

 

4. Adjournment.
