Dear ,

As we kick off Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, I hope you will be able to join me this Saturday, May 7 at 4pm to celebrate the unveiling of the Historic Filipinotown Eastern Gateway at Beverly Boulevard and Belmont Avenue in Historic Filipinotown!

Officially called ”Talang Gabay - Our Guiding Star,” Los Angeles’ latest cultural marker was designed by renowned Filipino artist Eliseo Art Silva and pays tribute to the incredible contributions of the Filipino community in our city and beyond.
The event will include a ribbon-cutting, lighting ceremony, music, dance performances, appearances from celebrities and - most importantly - leaders from the incredible community of Historic Filipinotown.

I'm proud to have helped lead the way in making this happen, and I’d be honored to celebrate this moment with all of you!

Residents interested in attending are encouraged to RSVP at bit.ly/HiFiGatewayOur team will follow up with additional details later this week.

I’ll see you next Saturday, May 7, at 4pm at Beverly Boulevard and Belmont Avenue!

Mabuhay!

MITCH O'FARRELL
