LAPD Community Police Academy      Palisades SLO Brian Espin advises that LAPD West Bureau will be conducting a Community Police Academy training course, sponsored in our area by Pacific Division, beginning on March 29and continuing on Tuesday evenings from 6-9pm for 11 weeks until graduation on June 1. For more information about the program, see the   Academy Flyer  and   Course Calendar. Upcoming PPCC Meetings   March 24, 2022 -- Board Meeting:  1) LAFD brush clearance presentation; 2) Motion to add Resilient Palisades to bylaws Appendix A (as a rotating board member) 3) 1st distribution of proposed bylaws amendments; 4) As time allows, WRAC-recommended motion re "cool asphalt" paving.    April 14, 2022 -- Board Meeting:  1) Disaster preparedness update by K.C. Soll; 2) 2nd distribution and vote on proposed bylaws amendments; 3) Appointment of Nominating Committee (to nominate PPCC officer candidates for the 2022-23 term). Note:  PPCC board meetings will continue to be held via Zoom at 6pm, until further notice.
