Click to view this email in a browser  Ron Galperin was elected Los City City Controller on July 1, 2013 and won re-election in 2017. Prior to being City Controller, he was a attorney, business owner, community leader and journalist. He also had time to serve as a Cantor at a congregation in Los Angeles.    Wednesday evening Controller Galperin will discuss the current financial situation in the City which includes a deficit of $675,000,000. However the City was just awarded $1.35 billion in the federal stimulus plan.   Are the financial problems solved? Enough money to resolve the homeless situation?
