Community Leaders To Hold Top Public Elected Officials Accountable in Annual Assembly


United Parents and Students (UPAS) will hold their 7th Annual Assembly TOGETHER WE RISE: A VISION FOR CHANGE on November 17th at 4:30pm PT via Zoom. The assembly brings together local leaders and top public elected officials to discuss the coalition’s demands regarding housing protections, food justice, violence prevention, and digital equity.  


WHO: United Parents & Students: a self-advocating coalition of over 200+ parents and student based in South & East Los Angeles

 

Mayor Eric Garcetti will open the event.
