Herbie Hancock Celebrates Miles Davis’ Centennial at the Hollywood Bowl
Jazz legend Herbie Hancock leads an all-star celebration of Miles Davis on Wednesday, August 19, at the Hollywood Bowl, marking the centennial of one of the most influential figures in jazz history.
Presented by the LA Phil, Herbie Hancock Celebrates Miles Davis brings together an extraordinary lineup of jazz artists for a one-night-only tribute to Davis’ music, innovation and enduring influence. Hancock, a Grammy-winning pianist and composer and the LA Phil’s Creative Chair for Jazz, will be joined by Terence Blanchard, Ron Carter, Kenny Garrett, Christian McBride, Vince Mendoza and Marcus Miller.

The Hollywood Bowl has served as the summer home of the Los Angeles Philharmonic since 1922. The nearly 18,000-seat outdoor amphitheater was named Outdoor Concert Venue of the Year at the 2026 Pollstar Awards, marking its 18th time receiving the honor.
