Gladys Knight and Smokey Robinson Bring Legendary Motown Sound to the Hollywood Bowl

LOS ANGELES—Two of America’s most celebrated soul music legends, Gladys Knight and Smokey Robinson, will perform at the Hollywood Bowl on Friday, July 24, 2026, from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

With eight Grammy Awards and 28 nominations between them, Knight and Robinson remain two of the most influential voices in American music history.

Gladys Knight first rose to fame with Motown group The Pips in the early 1960s and went on to deliver enduring classics including “I Heard It Through the Grapevine” and “Midnight Train to Georgia.” Over a six-decade career spanning pop, gospel, R&B, film, and television, Knight has recorded more than 38 albums and received a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2024.

Smokey Robinson, legendary frontman of the Miracles and one of Motown’s defining songwriters, helped shape generations of soul music with hits such as “You’ve Really Got a Hold on Me” and “I Second That Emotion.” Robinson also wrote and produced songs for artists including the Temptations and Marvin Gaye and remains an enduring figure in American music and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
