L’Chaim America! — New Theatre Production from The Braid Celebrates Diverse Jewish Stories as Part of America 250
As the United States approaches its 250th anniversary, The Braid presents L’Chaim America!, a new immersive storytelling theatre production spotlighting rarely heard stories of Jewish life in America. Supported by the National Endowment for the Arts, the production explores the richness and diversity of Jewish experiences through true stories, music, and live performance.
The show features stories from Black, Latino, Native American, Iranian, Soviet immigrant, and rural American Jewish voices, performed by an ensemble cast in The Braid’s acclaimed storytelling style.
Special community partnership performance June 7 at the Skirball Cultural Center with organizations including Jewish Federation of Los Angeles, Challah and Soul, Iranian American Jewish Federation, Jewtina y Co, and others.
