‘She’s Auspicious’ Dance Production Makes L.A. Debut at The Broad Stage

Kalaivanar Foundation presents She’s Auspicious, the Olivier Award–nominated dance production by acclaimed choreographer and performer Mythili Prakash. Featuring an all-female cast, this powerful full-length work blends classical Bharatanatyam with contemporary themes, exploring the relationship between the worship of goddesses and the lived experiences of women. Described by The Guardian as “a paean to girl power,” the production offers a bold, thought-provoking performance rooted in tradition and modern storytelling.

All net proceeds from the performance will benefit SABA North America Foundation, supporting South Asian survivors of domestic violence.
