THE VIEW FROM HERE - All cultures have their pivotal moments: Do or Die, Cut Bait or Fish, Sink or Swim, Face the Music, Judgment Day is Here, Take off the Gloves, etc.  Both Political Parties have gone way, way too far into their own extremism.   Under the influence of the racist psychopath Steven Miller, Trump’s GOP and the Dems with their racist anti-Semitic Woke DEI have presented their moderate supporters with a dilemma – they cannot remain registered with their political party and remain decent human beings. One cannot belong to the KKK without supporting a bigotry.

Remaining a Register GOP or DEM Means You Support Horrid People

Both GOP and DEM leaders have surrendered to the worst of the worst.  A registered GOP is deluding his/herself, if they think that they can change the party from within.  It is a package deal: Despite Trump’s recognition of the existential threat of Islamists and of Iran in particular, the GOP leaders have allowed Trump to become an unacceptable domestic threat to America itself.  The Senators could have constrained Trump by their constitutional duty to reject Trump’s insanely unqualified and corrupt nominees.  Their Constitutional duty under Art. II, Sec 2, Clause 2 was not discretionary. Senate Majority Leader John Thune’s saying that Trump had the right for all his nominees to be approved because Trump won the election was a perfidious lie.  Those who know US Constitutional Law realize that in comparison to Thune, Benedict Arnold was a patriot.  See Thune’s Perfidy

Everyone Needs Limits

The essence of Americanism is each person has individual inalienable rights and a government purpose is to protect those rights.  Since American schools have ceased teaching American constitutional history and values, we need to remember, ponder, and study this line in the Declaration of Independence: “That to secure these [inalienable] rights, governments are instituted among men.”  Thomas Jefferson said, "If a nation expects to be ignorant and free, it expects what never was and never will be."  The electorate, especially the young, is wallowing in ignorance.

Sixty Percent (60%) of Gen Zers and about 50% of Millennials believe that Hamas are freedom fighters against Israel which is an apartheid county committing genocide in Gaza.  As we learned after Oct 7th, this belief had become widespread after Nancy Pelosi’s strong support for Obama’s 2011 Title IX "Dear Colleague" Letter and his 2014 School Discipline Guidance which allowed Woke DEI extremism to consume higher education.   In December 2023, the three college presidents from Harvard, MIT, and Penn sparked outrage when they testified that calling for the genocide of Jews did not automatically violate their codes of conduct.  As Pelosi with her Identity Politics knew, Obama’s executive orders virtually mandated the vilification of the Founding Father as white racists and the discrediting of the Declaration of Independence as a document to perpetuate slavery.  As a result, Wokeism with its Us v Them, Oppressors vs Oppressed ideology which supplanted inalienable rights with group rights.  Under Wokeism, government opposes Oppressors (whites and Jews) and favors Oppressed (minorities).  Whenever one finds a disparity of outcomes between the groups, the sole explanation is Oppressor racism. Thus, whatever an Oppressed person does is moral and whatever a White or Jewish person does is immoral. Morality is not judged by the quality of the act but by the group membership of the actor.

This shift in morality was motivated by The Dem’s recognition that by the early 2030's the minorities would be the majority of voters. Pelosi’s Identity Politics was designed to corral as many “oppressed minorities” into the Dem Party to ensure the “take over.”  The Alt Right’s reaction was jubilation masquerading as moral outrage.  Especially, after the 2011 publication of the French book, The Grand Replacement, the claim that the Dems were engineering the Black replacement of Whites spread like wildfire, raising tens of millions of dollars for the Alt Right, allowing them to make significant in-roads into conservative circles. The MAGA response was as racist as was Pelosi’s Identity Politics so that both the extreme GOP (and the extreme Dems saw the US Constitution as their enemy.  Although few notice, the real GOP attack on the US Constitution comes from the Unitary Executive Theory, which has come to mean “abolish the rule of law in favor of making the President into a dictator.”

What Happens When the Crisis Moment Hits an Unprepared Society

While western civilization has the archetype of Study vs Action, we are not ready for our Do or Die moment.  The fact that a vast majority of our young have jettisoned the concept of study in favor of the Dems’ racist anti-Semitic DEI memes requires decent Dems to act now.  Republicans need to recognize that Trump’s “Deep State” is actually the US Constitution.  Trump is too non-analytical to comprehend the situation and far too narcissistic to care if did understand.  Not only has Stephen Miller bamboozled Trump to adopt Miller’s hatred of Mexicans, but to expand it to all immigrants. Like most Easterners, Trump knew nothing about Mexicans; he thought they were “brown Blacks.”  Trump fears and hates anyone who he believes is a loser, and that is why Trump’s Blacks and Browns.

Stephen Miller is the architect of the racist and horrid escalation of ICE’s attacks on the Mexican community, who it turns out are anti-DEI and whose culture heavily supports hard work without blaming the government (even when they should.) Miller’s personal anti-Mexicanism has turned tens of millions of likely Trump supporters into political enemies.  Due to Hillel’s second question, “If I am for myself only, what am I,” we Jews cannot be silent while Trump’s diminutive cretin commits constitutional crimes against Mexicans and others   The Hillel’s third question is, “Now is the time to act.”

Reasonable GOP and reasonable Dems can no longer allow their disgust at how the other party is behaving to excuse their voter own registration.  When a GOP or a Dem de-register, an immediate signal goes to the party leaders, saying, “Do not count on me.”  Please, do NOT re-register with the opposite party.  Both parties’ extremism has gone too far beyond the Pale.

De-registration Time is Now

De-registering tells the candidate, “I no longer support you.”  It gives them time to signal his/her courage, if he/she has any.  Bend forward into the wind and forge ahead. Inaction is death.
