ALPERN AT LARGE - When it’s quite clear that many, if not most Americans and other Earthlings have concluded that President Donald J. Trump may or may not have ideal (and possibly decades-overdue, and decades non-enforced) policies for our nation, but is a total brash, boorish trash-talker, four questions still come to mind:
1) Is this President (a jerk, crass, tactless, small-minded person that needs to have SOMEONE screen his social media output) a real “King”, or is he someone who abides by the edicts of the Supreme Court (such as with their tariff ruling) and Congressional politics, despite pushing back as much as did his predecessor?
2) Are those protesting against him able to acknowledge that as big a danger as Trump might pose is that of the “royal” tyrants at the state and local level, who rule by one-party fiat (think Gavin Newsom, Kathy Hochul, Karen Bass, Zohran Mamdani of New York, Brandon Johnson of Chicago) who are running their regions into the ground?
3) If the Senate is not willing to come up with their comprising solutions, and defense and law and order must be considered, isn’t the President constitutionally obligated to step in to fill the void?
4) Are those rooting for Iran, Venezuela, and Cuba’s leaders as guilty of promoting kings as those supporting Trump’s policies…because the Left appears to be ruling by fiat and canceling their opposition in a rather dictatorial fashion, and are supporting regimes who clearly have threatened us for decades.
And by the way, bulletin, bulletin, BULLETIN: most of those favoring the President’s policies do NOT support his trash-talking, unpresidential garbage any more than they did President Biden’s verbal garbage, so to lump everyone who is more “pro-America” or “pro-West” or “pro-freedom” as “pro-Trump” is pretty close-minded (and bigoted).
1. Those screaming about “No Kings” may want to ask how many were rounded up and imprisoned after they exercised their rights to free speech.
2. Those screaming about “No Kings” may want to weigh in on those who were NOT mostly peaceful and had to be arrested by LAPD officers for throwing bricks and debris at federal buildings and those whose job it is to protect those buildings.
3. Those screaming about “No Kings” might want to ask why men (and especially women!) from Iran really want nothing to do with their “No Kings” protests, and those from Venezuela, Israel, Cuba, and Arab nations threatened by Iran seem to support Trump’s efforts…which might promote an amazing global economy.
4. Those screaming about “No Kings” might ask why New York Governor Kathy Hochul told the hard-working and successful earners of New York to “jump on a bus” a few years ago, and is now begging those she verbally exiled to Florida to come back and pay for social programs they oppose and didn’t ever want to pay for.
5. Those screaming about “No Kings” might want to ask why they’d vote in a heartbeat for Governor Gavin Newsom if he ran for President in 2028 after he’s financially run California into virtual bankruptcy after chasing out the Golden State’s job creators and more wealthy taxpayers.
6. Those screaming about “No Kings” might want to ask why multimillionaire tech entrepreneur and leftist tech lord Neville Roy Singham, residing in China and closely aligned with the Chinese CCP, has played such a major role in organizing the “No Kings” protests …and ditto for George Soros (he who helped bring George Gascón and other DA’s that exploded crime in our cities).
7. Those screaming about “No Kings” might want to ask why Sheridan Gorman, Laken Riley, Iryna Zarutska and other victims of crime are being forgotten, and why the mayors and governors of blue cities and states are pretty much telling those protesting these innocent women’s deaths to shut the hell up because those decrying their murders are the problem, not the murderers themselves.
And it goes on and on.
Taxation without representation…shut up—and screw Trump and those fighting for a stronger and safer America!
Increasing crime and chaos…shut up—and screw Trump and those fighting for less murder, poverty, and hopelessness in our nation!
“Illegal aliens” becoming “undocumented migrants” and now “citizens”, despite knowingly breaking laws that are enforced in every other nation on Earth…SHUT UP—and screw Trump and those who want our nation to have laws and rules, because if laws aren’t enforced then they’re invalid (and those choosing to not enforce them are heroes!)
Chaos and non-enforcement of federal law in Minnesota (and now California) after Nick Shirley exposes rampant fraud and abuse of taxpayer-funded programs?
Where are the honest journalists?
Where are the principled analysts who are weighing BOTH Trump’s dangerous rhetoric AND the lawlessness being glossed over by the “No Kings” protestors.
Heck, even in Britain they had a “No Kings” protest…and they’ve got a frickin’ king!
If the Left wants to be Left, then fine, but if they’re talking strangely, and illogically, and hypocritically, then are these “No Kings” protests bad or good for President Trump and the upcoming mid-term elections?
Because two final questions must be asked here:
1. If you’re acting worse and more irrationally than Trump, than how bad is THAT?
2. If you’re screaming about “No Kings” while promoting dictatorial behavior and canceling the other side after legal 2024 elections, it’s to be understood that we do need protection from Trump’s concerning excesses of words, behavior, and policies…but who will protect us from the “No Kings” mobs?
