Vance and Rubio Note Trump’s Slipping into Senility

VOICES

THE VIEW FROM HERE - Trump world is in such chaos right now, that it’s hard to know where to focus.  Trump threatened Iran with strong US military action saying that we "locked and loaded," if protesters were killed.  As death toll surpasses 25,000, Trump claims that the Iranians wanted to negotiate Trump, After Ayatollah Ali Khamenei threatened Trump’s life, “This time we won’t miss.”  Trump withdrew American troops from the Middle East.  Perhaps so that they would be ready to invade Greenland.

Trump’s DoJ launches a criminal investigation into FED chairman Jerome Powell which results in more GOP disaffection for Trump as a buffoon who is so self-centered that he has lost all objectivity.  Of course, Pig Hegseth is still bring dishonor on the US military with his attack on the inalienable right of Free Speech.  Harkening back to VP candidate Sarah Palin, perhaps Hegseth has never read the Constitution so that he is unaware of the First Amendment and his own oath of office.

In a total denial of reality, Trump claims that Renee Good ran over ICE agent Jonathan Ross despite the fact that all the videos show that did not happen.  Trump also claims that Renee Good was a “domestic terrorist,” whereupon ICE and the FBI seized all the evidence and refuses to share it with Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA).  Concealing of evidence from the BCA constitutes the crime of obstruction of justice; it tells everyone that the evidence supports the claim that Jonathan Ross murdered Renee Good.  Because murder is a state law offense, Trump will not be able to pardon ICE agent Ross.

Trump still refuses to release the Epstein Files or the release of the video of the first US military killing of the Caribbean Boat people.  Now new allegations surface that Hegseth’s used a military reconnaissance airplane disguised as civilian  aircraft to locate the alleged drug smugglers. If so, that is a war crime known of Perfidy under US military law.

Although the Unitary Executive Theory (UET) advocates on the US Supreme Court were allegedly going to release its decision on Trump’s tariffs today (January 14, 2026), it did not do so. US Chief Justice Roberts has a dilemma. While the Court’s UET’s supporters are committed to turning the United States into a military dictation by consolidating all power under President, Washington generally believes that Trump’s senility is becoming worse.  If the Court approves Trump’s unconstitutional usurpation of Congress’s Tariff right and power, that will feed Trump’s megalomania.  If on the other hand, the Court correctly rules that Trump’s tariffs violate the US Constitution, Trump may see John Roberts in the same way as he perceives Renee Good.  To whom will Pig Hegseth be loyal – the Supreme Court or Trump?  (Rhetorical question)

As we scan heaven and earth for the answer to Trump’s mental state, JD Vance and Marco Rubio seem to agree.  Jon Stewart unwittingly provided a Rorschach test for each of us.

Jon Stewart, who is not always fair to Fearless Leader, has a video clip of Trump’s January 9, 2026 meeting with about two dozen oil executives.  For reasons, which will become apparent after you view three minutes of the video @3:00 through 5:20 seconds.   After you pick yourself off the floor from uncontrolled laughter, you will realize that Washington knows Trump is losing it.  See Oil Video Clip

As I do not want to be a spoiler alert of what may become a classic clip for decades to come, I will only say the following.

(1) After viewing the clip at full speed, you might review it slowed down to 25% or 50% speed so that you do not miss Vance’s and Rubio’s expressions – at each other – as Trump gets up to look out the window.

(2) Your interpretation of Vance and Rubio is your Rorschach moment.

(3) Then, there is some more palaver. Please stick with video until about 5:20 seconds.  You will know when.
