Is the Two State Solution anti-Semitic?
RULE:
The United States and much of the rest of the Free World has accepted The May 26, 2016 International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA)’s definition of anti-Semitism. See IHRA Definition
IHRA has two sections which are pertinent to the Two State Solution:
* Calling for, aiding, or justifying the killing or harming of Jews in the name of a radical ideology or an extremist view of religion.
* Applying double standards by requiring of it [Israel] a behavior not expected or demanded of any other democratic nation.
DISCUSSION
What is the Two State Solution?
The 1947 UN Partition called for The Two State Solution, i.e. creating two separate states within the former British Mandate of Palestine west of the Jordan River; one state would be the Jewish homeland and the other for the 23nd Arab state. See Map For hundreds of years, this area had been part of the Ottoman Empire. The Petition’s Jewish part comprised about 56% of the area and the Arab portion comprised 42% of the area, but the Arabs had received 22 other states in the Leant after WW II. The Jews received about 17% of the British Mandate, leaving 83% for the Arabs plus 100% of the French Mandate for Syrian. The Palestinians, however, received nothing since were no Palestinians in 1947.
The Jews accepted the conditions of the 1947 Partition and the State of Israel came into being under international law. The Arabs rejected the Partition, demanding 100% of the land. Thus, the Arab area of the British Mandate did not become a state; to this day, the Arabs have rejected the Two State Solution.
After the 1948 Arab-Israel war, there were additional attempts to have the Arabs agree to a Two State Solution, but each time, the Arabs objected to a Two State Solution. Around 1967, Arabs started to refer to these particular Arabs as “Palestinians” to distinguish them from other Arabs and Muslims, e.g., Jordanians, Egyptians, Syrian, etc. Prior to this time, there were no Palestinians, but the term had become more useful than the generic term Arabs because Arabs already had 22 other states. Nor did other Arabs want Gaza. After the 1967 Six Day war, Israel offered to return Gaza to Egypt, but the Egyptians refused, leaving Israel in control of Gaza.
After all the Jews left Gaza in 2005, the Arabs living in Gaza elected Hamas to be their government. Gazans all knew that the Hamas’ 1987 Charter did not support the Two State Solution. Instead, its purpose was to destroy Israel. “Israel will exist and will continue to exist until Islam will obliterate it, just as it obliterated others before it.” See 1987 Hamas Charter While many Arabs will say, in English, they want a state, when the time comes for them to officially accept a Palestinian state, they have rejected the Two State Solution. They have been consistent in their opposition to any Jewish state.
CONCLUSION
The Two State Solution is Absurd and Anti-Semitic
Because the Arabs have always rejected the Two State Solution and demanded the destruction of the State of Israel, it is ludicrous for anyone to persist in a Two State Solution. Millions of people who support the Two State Solution also claim that people have the right of self-determination, which is hypocritical in the extreme because the Palestinians’ goal has been to deny the Jews the right of self-determination. King David had made Jerusalem his capital in 1,000 C.E. Although the Jews lost sovereignty in 70 C.E. when Roman destroyed the Second Temple, Jews have continuously inhabited Israel for over 3,500 years.
The two territories, Gaza and the West Bank, are used to attack the Jewish state and from time to time to attack and murder Jews worldwide. The UN Charter prohibits the use of force to alter state boundaries and initiates war against another state. Article 2(4) of the UN Charter When attacked, may a sovereign state use force to repel the attack, Yes, Article 51 of the UN Charter. Thus, the consistent demand that the Palestinians’ may destroy Israel by force violates the UN Charter. Yet, the UN has hypocritically insisted that each war launched against Israel should result legitimizing the aggression against Israel. After the 1967 Six Day War, international law supported Israel’s having 100% control over Gaza and the West Bank and the exile of all Arabs who did not accept Israel as a sovereign nation.
For example, after WW II, 12 million ethnic Germans from were forcibly removed from Central and Eastern Europe where their ancestors had lived as far back as the Holy Roman Empire. It is estimated that ½ Million ethnic Germans died during the expatriation. See German Removal Similarly, after the 1947 partition of India in 1947, approximately 12 to 20 million Muslims were removed to Pakistan while Hindus and Sikhs were relocated to India. See India Expels Muslims The mass removal of ethnic groups to reduce future violence has been accepted under international law. In fact, in 1971, Jordan expelled all PLO Palestinians to Lebanon, and after Saddam Hussein invaded Kuwait expelled over 350,000 Palestinians.
Since the end of the Six Day War, Israel has had the right to expel all the Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank. A wise time to have exercised that option was when Jordan expelled the PLO in 1971. Israel did not, but instead agreed to the Two State Solution rather than adopting a One State Solution were all the Palestinians would be removed in the same manner as other Arab nations have done when faced with similar threats.
Despite Hamas’ non-stop war crimes of hostage taking and using Gazans as civilian shields, the Woke West has chosen to overlook Hamas’ goal to exterminated Jews and essentially ignore Hamas’s total refusal to cease war crimes, but instead the Woke West has supported and helped Hamas by the constant publication of known falsehoods about Israel. See Biden’s Blood Libels
Not only has the Western media promoted the Two State Solution by concealing Hamas’ on-going atrocities, but also by holding Israel to standards significantly greater than applied to other countries. The time is nigh to jettison the Two State Solution as anti-Semitic.
