Council District 14 Celebrates the Return of Fiesta Broadway to Downtown Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES

DTLA EVENT -

Culture, public safety, and collaboration converge in one of L.A.’s most iconic events

Los Angeles is preparing to welcome back Fiesta Broadway on Sunday, April 26, 2026, celebrating 33 consecutive years as one of the city’s most iconic cultural events in Downtown Los Angeles. Council District 14, under the leadership of Councilwoman Ysabel Jurado, has been working in close coordination with the City of Los Angeles to support the return of this historic community celebration.

District 14’s leadership reflects a continued commitment to cultural events that strengthen community identity, civic pride, and economic activity in the heart of the city. Fiesta Broadway has long served as a gathering place for families, youth, and visitors to celebrate Latino culture through music, food, and shared experiences.

The City of Los Angeles takes public safety seriously and works closely with the Los Angeles Police Department, Los Angeles Fire Department, Parks & Recreation, and multiple city agencies that have supported Fiesta Broadway for more than 32 years. This coordinated effort ensures a safe, organized, and welcoming environment for an estimated attendance of over 60,000 people.

Fiesta Broadway 2026 will feature major musical performances, all-day professional wrestling, a dedicated Kids Play Zone, the Mi Producto Favorito activation area with promotions and giveaways, and a wide range of culinary offerings from Mexico, Central America, and South America. This year’s event will also introduce La Feria de la Mujer for the first time—a dedicated space highlighting organizations and businesses that serve women of all ages.

This year’s celebration also reflects inter-district collaboration. Council District 9, represented by Councilmember Curren Price, has joined in supporting Fiesta Broadway, underscoring a shared commitment to community engagement and cooperation across Downtown Los Angeles.

Together, Districts 14 and 9 are helping to strengthen Fiesta Broadway as a citywide celebration of culture, community, and collaboration—demonstrating how Los Angeles thrives when its leaders and communities work together.
