Defense of Transgender Rights:  Everybody’s Fight

IMPORTANT READS

THE AGE OF TRUMP--Ask not for whom the transgender bell tolls: it tolls for thee. A hideous evil has befallen America -- it is Nazism. A classic Nazi ploy is to take over a nation by singling out a group that is weak and has few, if any, defenders. In Trump’s America of 2017, that is transgender people.

Being transgender is no different than having blond hair or brown eyes or being 5 feet 10. But some have decided to assign severe liabilities to them. In Germany, the Nazis singled out individuals according to irrelevant characteristics -- like being Gay, or Gypsy, or Jewish, or Trade Unionist, or Catholic -- and subjected them to exclusion from society. Then they subjected their victims to the most heinous of horrors, including death camps, medical experiments and genocide.

Germany’s Nazi leaders were cruel, viciously violent, and evil, but they were not stupid. Genocide was not their opening gambit; it was one of their goals as the master race. The Nazis began by attacking the weakest, least protected members of society, knowing that no one would come to their aid.

That is why Trump has attacked transgenders. Probably less than 10% of the nation knows what transgender even means. Thanks to Caitlyn Jenner, those who do know anything about transgender people know the term applies to a person born one gender but whose external physical characteristics are of the other gender. Bruce Jenner was the USA Men’s Decathlon Gold Medal in the 1976 Summer Olympics – two hundred years after the Declaration of Independence declared that all men have certain inalienable rights including Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. Now, she is Caitlyn Jenner, having claimed her inalienable right to Life, Liberty and Pursuit of Happiness.

Nazis Hate the Fact That All Individuals Have Inalienable Rights

Nazis hate and reject the notion that individual people have inalienable rights. This hatred lies at the base of Trump’s attack on transgender individuals. In the Nazi scheme, individual human beings count for nothing because all rights derive from being a member of the Master Race and from not having any of the characteristics disliked by Trump, Bannon, Herr Stephen Miller, Joseph Goebbels or other Nazis.

Trump and his white supremacist handlers are relying on the military turning against its own. The Nazis expect people to be cowards and not stand up for marginalized individuals. They assume the military will go along to get along, knowing that there are more white supremacists in the military than there are transgender individuals. Why would the generals run the risk of upsetting the white supremacists? That would interfere with cohesion.

Gen, Mattis, on the other hand, has already instructed the military to “hold the line” until the Trump danger passes. “'You know it and I know it. [The nation’s] got problems we don’t have in the military. And you just hold the line, my fine soldiers, and sailors and airmen and Marines. Just hold the line until our country gets back to understanding and respecting each other and showing it,” the General told the troops this August.

Trump’s transgender order decimates the military code of Leave No Man Left Behind. Under Trump, the new mandate is, “Turn on your own and expel them from the corps when that makes your life more convenient.” That is the core of Nazism – any individual can be assigned to a group and then excluded, based on that designation.

The Nazis’ Modus Operandi

Martin Niemöller, the Catholic Priest from Nazi Germany, made famous this hideous creeping elimination of inalienable rights from German society, culminating in one hundred million dead in World War II – because people remained silent in the beginning:

“First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out — because I was not a Socialist.

“Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out — because I was not a Trade Unionist.

“Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out — because I was not a Jew.

“Then they came for me — and there was no one left to speak for me.”

Cowardly Predators Choose as Victims People Whom No One Will Aid

Thugs attack 80-year old women when they go to pick up their social security checks. Pedophiles attack young children when they are alone in a park. Trump attacks the transgenders, believing no one will defend them. That is the core of Nazism. Trump’s pardon of Phoenix’s former Sheriff Joe Arpaio (who was found guilty of violating a court order to cease the racial profiling and targeting of immigrants) shows that Trump rejects the idea that individuals have inalienable rights. Trump is not going to stop his Nazi ways.

The most dangerous aspect of the Arpaio pardon is that Trump is asserting his personal whims, implying they are more important than the judiciary and the U.S. Constitution. Trump followed none of the protocols in deciding whether to pardon this criminal. This shows another core concept of the Nazi philosophy – Der Fuhrer is all powerful. Ein Volk, ein Reich, ein Führer – "One People, One Empire, One Leader." Trump need consult no one.

How the Military Will Respond

This Admiral’s Speech about the nature of the Navy SEALS signals why Trump’s Nazism has no place in the Armed Forces or in American society. I am not big on speeches but this one clarifies what it means to be a human being.

The Decision Is Before Each of us

Will I be silent while Trump and his Nazis crew attack transgender people or will I act like Navy SEALs who never back down in the face of a vicious predator?
