Election Reforms in Georgia and Beyond: What We’re Watching
Media Briefing by The Center for Election Innovation and Research
WASHINGTON, DC - David Becker, JD, Executive Director and Founder of the Center for Election Innovation & Research (CEIR), will debrief members of the media on what his research team is watching as legislatures around the country continue to consider election administration reforms. He will answer questions.
Becker has over 22 years of experience in elections, serving as a senior attorney with the US Department of Justice Voting Section in both the Clinton and George W. Bush administrations, as well as leading the elections team at The Pew Charitable Trusts, prior to founding CEIR. During the last several months, Becker served as CBS News’ election law expert. You can see Becker’s recent analysis of the new Georgia voting law here. The media briefing will give journalists an opportunity to ask additional questions about pending state and federal legislation.
This virtual event is only available to members of the media, and every participant must RSVP via email to [email protected] in order to be admitted. The event is on the record, however, any use of video or audio must be approved by CEIR prior to the briefing. Send requests and questions to [email protected].
