The Bay Foundation and LADWP Launch Energy and Water Conservation Program to Engage Public

As part of a Community Partnership Outreach grant from the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP), The Bay Foundation (TBF) has launched an online public survey and the first of three Public Service Announcements (PSAs) to engage the public and promote energy and water conservation.

The brief survey asks people about their views on energy and water savings to help assess awareness and bring about positive behavior change. And the just-released initial PSA, by filmmaker Ricky Qi, delivers a strong energy/rebate message with humor.

The PSAs are being placed across a diverse set of media outlets including online, TV, at film festivals, and in theaters. LADWP customers are requested to take the brief survey, and everyone is encouraged to watch the PSA and share it, and watch for the next two in February and April.
