Sheila Irani - Los Angeles City Council District 4

A native CD4 resident, former Director of Special Projects for Councilman Tom LaBonge (2011-2013), small business owner of 20 years, philanthropist for high risk youth with Children's Hospital LA and county foster care agencies, community leader as HOA President for Lake Hollywood for 5 years and currently Outreach Chair for Hollywood United Neighborhood Council.

I attended UCLA as a Chancellor’s Scholar, graduating with degrees in Economics, Psychology, and a Masters in Business Administration.  In my business career I have built a national, award winning transportation planning and marketing firm, created the TransitVoucher program, attracted over 300 businesses to offer child care to their employees, and currently preside over a Southern California based real estate asset management firm. I have a passion for solving problems as a taxpayer advocate, using my background in business, and urban economics. I will serve with a focus on action, not words."
