Budget Day June 15th @ City Hall
Now more than ever it is important for every Los Angeles stakeholder to attend the annual Neighborhood Council Budget Day.
The City Council just passed a new budget for more than 12 BILLION dollars, but have made many cuts to departments that may have a direct effect on your city services.
Hundreds of millions of dollars in budget deficit causes these cuts.
How did we get here? Why did we get here? What do the next few annual budgets look like and what can we expect in future service cuts.
The answers to these and many other questions can be answered at Budget Day.
There will be speakers and a panel of experts who can try to explain it to us all.
