Description:

The City of Los Angeles is proposing a significant increase in sewer service charges, which would double the current rates over the next four years. This proposed rate hike, beginning with a 22% increase in October 2024, will impact residents and businesses across the city. The proposed increase totals $700 million over four years, doubling the average monthly cost for many ratepayers.
