Miracle Mile Neighbors:

Ballots were mailed and should have reached your mailbox yesterday. In Miracle Mile, we are governed by CD5 & CD10 (depending on where you live). CD5 has two candidates, Sam Yebri and Katy Yaroslavsky. 

Our council members have a large impact on our neighborhood and daily life. We encourage you to attend the CD 5 Candidate debate on Monday October 10th at 7:00 PM via Zoom.

The debate will be moderated by Patty Lombard, Co-Publisher of the Larchmont Buzz.

  5. Update: Discussion and possible action on the DONE Intensity Report for Neighborhood Councils. Request from the department: as to the intent, what metrics were used for the scores, the raw data, and all costs associated with the creation of the survey, employee hours to compile the survey, and any other direct or indirect costs associated with the survey.

    1. Discussion and possible action to review the outcome of CF- 18-0467 https://cityclerk.lacity.org/lacityclerkconnect/index.cfm?fa=ccfi.viewrecord&cfnumber=18-0467 and to possibly request that City Council addresses some of the reforms based on the results of the LANCC Survey.

CHNC to Host LA City Council District 13 Candidate Forum

 

The Central Hollywood Neighborhood Council (CHNC) will host the candidates for Los Angeles City Council District 13 on Friday, September 30, 2022 for a candidate forum at the Los Angeles LGBT Center’s Anita May Rosenstein Campus. Incumbent Councilmember Mitch O’Farrell and challenger/labor organizer Hugo Soto-Martinez will answer questions from moderator/CHNC board member Nicole aBeckett on issues of city-wide concern and issues specific to the Hollywood area.
