The ReelAbilities Film Festival: Los Angeles is back — live and in-person — from October 21-23, 2022 under the Downtown LA skyline at California Plaza!

The ReelAbilities Film Festival: Los Angeles is a three-day festival dedicated to promoting awareness and appreciation of the lives, stories, and artistic expressions of people with disabilities. We showcase new and classic films, conversations, and programs that explore, embrace, and celebrate the diversity of our shared human experience.

Hosted by the City of Los Angeles Department on Disability, in partnership with Street Food Cinema and Grand Performances, this year’s 5th ReelAbilities Film Festival: Los Angeles will take place on Friday, October 21st, Saturday October 22nd, and Sunday, October 23rd in California Plaza located at 350 S. Grand Ave, Los Angeles CA 90071.

CHNC to Host LA City Council District 13 Candidate Forum

 

The Central Hollywood Neighborhood Council (CHNC) will host the candidates for Los Angeles City Council District 13 on Friday, September 30, 2022 for a candidate forum at the Los Angeles LGBT Center’s Anita May Rosenstein Campus. Incumbent Councilmember Mitch O’Farrell and challenger/labor organizer Hugo Soto-Martinez will answer questions from moderator/CHNC board member Nicole aBeckett on issues of city-wide concern and issues specific to the Hollywood area.
