CITYWATCH TODAY—I say Bob Dylan and you think … politics?! Depends on how old you are.
Today’s Millennials have discovered Dylan … and they think ‘music’ when they hear his name. For those of us who think the ‘60’s was the ‘Greatest Decade’ … we think winning the battle to end the Viet Nam war and Blowin’ in the Wind and Where have all the Flowers Gone and … well, politics … when we hear or see the name Bob Dylan.
And, his name … and politics … are back in the news in this Millennial generation. He has just won the Nobel Prize in Literature. And it feels so good to know that even though the times are a ‘changin … Bob Dylan endures. Common Dreams reports all the details.
