U.S. Steals, Applies Russian Subversion Techniques

CERDAFIED-In 1985, Yuri Alexandrovich Bezmenov, a former subversive KGB agent explained how America was being subverted from within during a television interview.  He briefly outlined how the KGB focused approximately 85% of their efforts on ideological subversion, not spying as one would assume. 

Why would so much time, money and effort be devoted to subversion? There are 3 reasons; control, power, and money. 

The U.S. government was intrigued by other super powers use of subversion. The government quickly began researching the same techniques and experimenting on control groups in psychological studies.  (Read the rest … including how the U.S. applied the KGB’s four steps … here.)
