She worked at Lockheed Martin building military war planes. Despite the long hours and difficult working conditions, she was proud to be doing her part to support the war effort. She talked about the camaraderie among the women in the factory and how they supported each other through the challenges they faced. She also spoke about the sense of purpose she felt knowing that her work was helping to protect the country and the freedoms it stood for.
