Mayor Wimpy. He’s too smart for his own good. He IS a smart cookie but he outthinks himself. He’s inclined toward strategy and manipulation. I want empathy and understanding. He believes that if he remains noncommittal on controversial issues he can skate his way to higher office. I want a risk-taker who will believe in something … and say so. He has become Mayor Wimpy. As the [Times pointed out today](http://www.latimes.com/opinion/editorials/la-ed-garcetti-measurejjj-20161013-snap-story.html) Mayor Wimpy is nowhere to be heard on Measure JJJ … and then goes on post a list of hot button stuff he has dodged … believing that if he ignores it he will come away clean and unsullied.
