#  Centrists! Let’s Stop Supporting the Knaves, Fools, and Prevaricators

THE VIEW FROM HERE - Anyone who is a registered GOP or DEM is supporting the worst that our nation has ever even. MAGA and its seriously mentally ill leader controls the GOP party and every person who is a registered GOP is lending his/her support. Please, do not say that you are working within the structure for improvement. If you are not 100% with them, they are against you. The same is true for any registered Dem. We have seen the revitalized Woke core with the Bernie and AOC show. A few, such as James Carville, are speaking against the Woke insanity, but increasingly DEM is falling back into to the Woke trap. The nation gives the GOP a 37% favorable rating, but the Dems get only a 30%.

**Use Your Power or Lose It**

Face reality. Your power is very limited and your ability to stop the orgy of MAGA and WOKE insanity is tiny. If you stay registered as either a GOP or Dem, you are allowing what little power you possess to re-enforce their madness. Both MAGA and Woke believe that each registered party member is a supporter. They know that as long as you stay registered, you will vote as they want. The only thing a registered GOP or Dem can do to impact their party’s extremist core now at this very time when it is needed is to Quit. As their registration declines, they know that voter support will likewise wane. Let’s call it the law of inertia – If you are too lazy to quit the party, you will vote for the party. If you quit, then come election day, inertia will cause you to vote in your new way. The people who will decide future elections are the Independent Centrists. Independents = 43%, GOP = 27 %, and Dem = 27%. Despite inter-election variations, the constant trend is for both major parties to lose members while the number of Independents increases.

**Neither MAGA or WOKE Followers Have Freedom of Thought**

As long as a person stays affiliated with Dems or GOP, one tends to feel a loyalty to his/her registration. As long as a person identifies with a group, they are inclined to stick with that group and rationalize over overlook his party’ excesses. It is easy to say, “Oh he really does not mean it,” only to discover the Trump does mean to impose insane tariffs. Then, it is easy to close one’s eyes to the fact that tariffs are a high tax on the poor and middle class and a low or non tax on the wealthy. Trump exempts Rolls Royce’s made in Europe but not Chevys made in Canada.

When one is a GOP, it is easy to conflate tariffs with trade deficits. Here is what constitutes a Trump Trade Deficit: When you buy something, you have a trade deficit because you spent money. The more money you spend, the higher your trade deficit. When you fill up your tank with gas, you have a trade deficit because you paid Shell Oil $60.00. Trump always ignores that when you buy something you get something you need in return. When Trump hears there will no goods coming from China, he says that is good because Americans are not spending money. He ignores that also means very few Christmas presents since China makes the toys, clothes and artificial Xmas trees.

We have tens of millions of MAGA supporters believing this insanity because a deranged orange lunatic keeps saying it over, and over, and over. And here is the remarkable thing about Donald Trump – hourly he spews forth endless lies and economic gibberish with total coherence. The fact that Trump believes one thing today and the exact opposite goes right over the heads of the MAGA who claim, “Oh, it is intentional.” Remember his professor at The Wharton School (U of Penn) said Trump was the dumbest student he ever had.

**The Non-existent UK Trade Deal**

There is no trade deal with the UK. All the UK agreed to was to act as if there were a trade deal so that Trump can mislead people by pretending he is making trade deals. If you want to buy a Rolls Royce, I guess you think there is a trade deal. Illusory trade deals with anyone including with the penguins make Trump look like the hero. You know with whom the UK is making trade deals? The EU!

**On the Dem Side, “Let’s All Cheer for Anti-Semitism”**

The campus encampments were not free speech unless you count the Nazis in 1930's Germany were engaged in “free speech.” The encampments were anti-Jewish enclaves based upon endless anti-Semitic lies about Israel and American Jewish and most had the full support of the universities who had been purging Jewish faculty and students for years. Kamala Harris even accused American Jews of genocide in Gaza! Joe Biden spewed forth so many blood libel against Israel, Netanyahu, and American Jews, that millions of Dems believed the lies and joined the call for the extermination of Jews. Trump is grabbing as much loot as he can while in office and all the Dems want is power, more power, and did I say power. The Dems have two positions: (1) More Woke DEI and (2) Trump’s insane excesses. No matter to which party one belongs, one is lending support to the worse that America has ever presented. In their avarice for power, neither Woke nor MAGA gives a damn about Americans, the Constitution, or the Free World. All either wants is to be in power.

One power each person has is to de-registered as GOP or DEM and to re-registered as an Independent. With 41% of the voters already registered Independents, the oligarch thieves who run each party know that unless they pay attention to the Center, they will lose. When politicos realize that a majority of Americans recognize that Woke and MAGA are Knaves, Fools, and Prevaricators, we might return to a constitutional Republic.
