#  Oh, the Humanity! Snarky Sarcastic Scott Adams Gets Cancelled as Racist!

THE DOCTOR IS IN - Cancel Culture would be funny if it wasn't so damned predictable, or destructive to society altogether.

Talk about a modern-day McCarthyism. Dave Chapelle being cancelled. Now Scott Adams being cancelled. Both are haters/racists yet have links to all people of different ethnic and other backgrounds.

Chapelle, married to an Asian woman. Adams, dated for years to an Asian woman (remember how many of his first books he dedicated to his role model Pam...as in Pam Okasaki?).

How about Garry Trudeau, cartoonist for Doonesbury, who long ago decried black/white divisions in campus with respect to living, graduations, and the like joking about having separate water fountains for white students? (He despised Donald Trump, by the way)

How about Berkeley Breathed, who railed against both Donald Trump and the Politically Correct movement? Is he racist, too, with his jokes about white men having to apologize for being as such?

So Scott Adams, Mr. "I-hate-workplace-phony-B.S" Guy who is a libertarian favoring legalized marijuana, is suddenly the Grand Wizard of the KKK?

So a [Rasmussen Poll](https://www.sportskeeda.com/pop-culture/what-scott-adams-say-dilbert-creator-controversy-explained-racist-rant-sparks-cancellation) describing very large members of African-Americans who disagree that "It's OK to be white" is something that most Americans (including Asians, whites, Latinos, etc.) are fine with...

...and Adams is just a hater for responding to the poll as suggesting the 47% of African Americans who disagree with "it's OK to be white" comprise a "hate group"?

How about any white, Latino, or Asian Americans who resent black Americans? Are they all part of a hate group?

ow about non-black Americans who voted for Obama, but who are seriously concerned about Black Lives Matter? Are they all part of a hate group?

How about the Dilbert [comic strip distributor](https://apnews.com/article/kansas-city-business-d1d88fe02461930d9c2ad70e1f55b136) cancelling the comic strip (one of the most popular in America, arguably, because it touches so well on workplace idiocy)? Is that Cancel Culture?

Is Cancel Culture racist?

Is Elon Musk a racist for defending Scott Adams for saying that white people should "get the hell away" from those who do not believe "it's OK to be white"?

Would African Americans be racist to "get the hell away" from any white, Latino, or Asian Americans if they disagreed that "it's OK to be black"?

After witnessing wealthy white Americans gentrify and displace historically black neighborhoods, and after witnessing Latino Americans displace historically-black neighborhoods (South L.A., Compton and surrounding areas are Latino, not "black" regions of Southern California...are those racist movements?

There have been some undeniably racist actions such as targeted shootings against black (or other ethnic) groups and Americans. Violence and divisive words are undoubtedly racist.

In fact, it could be argued that Cancel Culture and Politically Correct Culture has divided us MORE, and not LESS.

But to suggest that Adams is a "racist" who had a "racist rant" might go well in certain corners of the world, but those decrying his "racism" might do well to question if THEY aren't the racial dividers, and if THEY aren't inviting a response to what once was called "free speech" or "sarcasm".

Kind of like Dave Chapelle...those who ridiculed him for racist or anti-transgender views did, do, and will inevitably lose in the court of public opinion.

Because Chapelle and Adams will continue to be heard and will remain much more popular and appreciated than those trying to shut them up and shut them down.
