POT WATCH - Since legalization and the light shining on cannabis and its benefits, the cannabis industry has grown rapidly in a short space of time.
As a result, more and more people are interested in becoming a part of this industry and making money from it as well. If you are interested in making some money in the cannabis industry but are unsure how to go about it, this article will discuss 5 ideas you can implement to make money in this very lucrative industry. We’ll discuss everything from cannabis accessories, affiliate marketing, cannabis-related content, investing, and events promotion to stick around!
Come up with unique cannabis accessories
Cannabis products and accessories are very popular. Some of the most popular cannabis devices include vaporizers, bongs, bubblers, and dab rigs. These come with a lot of different accessories that can easily be found online like [these rig bangers and nails](https://dankstop.com/collections/quartz-bangers-and-nails), for example. The accessories keep getting more and more innovative so if you want to make money in this industry from accessories, you must be creative and ensure you supply the market with something unique that can be separated from the rest.
## Affiliate marketing
Affiliate marketing is very popular in the cannabis industry and this is when cannabis companies commission the help of an external website to help generate traffic and sales from affiliate marketing. This type of marketing is considered performance-based because the business will reward each affiliate for every customer brought by the marketing efforts of that particular affiliate. In the cannabis industry affiliate marketing can be done with the help of blogs, websites, and influencers as well as people selling and promoting your products through word of mouth marketing which is also effective.
## Cannabis-related content
The cannabis industry is very lucrative and you can potentially make a lot of money by creating cannabis-related content. If you have a blog or a website, you can do this by writing about cannabis to inform your audience about what cannabis is, the benefits of consumption, and anything else you would like to share. You can also have a podcast that you can use as a platform to educate people about cannabis, which will also help break away any remaining stigma in society. On social media, you can spread awareness of the benefits of cannabis as well as share any other related information about cannabis and cannabis products. There are many options when it comes to creating cannabis-related content and if you wish to make money from this, you can partner with cannabis businesses and brands and have them pay you to create content that also promotes their products or services.
## Investing
Another way to get your hand into the cannabis money pot is through investing. This requires nothing more than for you to invest in a business that you believe will be a success. You can invest in anything from cultivation to distribution or even in technology such as cannabis apps being developed. If this is the route you want to take, you need to do significant amounts of independent research on cannabis-related companies to decide which companies are worth your investment. You won’t regret investing in the cannabis market because this is a lucrative market. Cannabis is expected to reach a market value of $197.7 billion by 2028.
## Promote events
Many consumers in the cannabis community are looking for fun and exciting events that they can attend with other like-minded cannabis lovers. You could promote a small gathering or promote bigger events such as festivals or concerts. Not only will you be making money from promoting, but you will also be making connections and friends with others who share the same interest in the cannabis industry. This is a great way to network.
There are plenty of ways that you can make money in the cannabis industry. This very lucrative industry is full of money to be made and if you’re looking to get into it, consider creating your unique cannabis accessories, exploring affiliate marketing, cannabis-related content, and investing in or promoting cannabis events.
