#  The Laurel Foundation Receives Kindness in Community Fund Grant From Lady Gaga and Cynthia Germanotta’s Born This Way Foundation

LGBTQ CHARITY - THE LAUREL FOUNDATION is thrilled to announce our selection as a 2024 KINDNESS IN COMMUNITY FUND grant recipient, supporting youth mental health and well-being in our community. BORN THIS WAY FOUNDATION, co-founded by Lady Gaga and her mother Cynthia Germanotta, partnered with Australian-born fashion and lifestyle brand Cotton On and its philanthropic arm, the COTTON ON FOUNDATION, to support organizations in 10 countries, including the United States, investing $50,000 to support our work in improving the mental health and well-being of youth affected by HIV/AIDS and transgender/gender-diverse youth.

"We are honored to partner with Born This Way Foundation and Cotton On Foundation to continue to help our The Laurel Foundation address the evolving needs of young people in our community by providing them with resources to proactively support their own and their peers’ mental health and well-being." stated Margot Anderson, founder and CEO of The Laurel Foundation.

Founded in 1993, The Laurel Foundation's mission is to empower children affected by HIV/AIDS and transgender/gender diverse youth through cost-free year-round mental health and supportive programs. The Laurel Foundation programs are a powerful antidote to the challenges of youth living with HIV/AIDS or are gender non-conforming, bringing a sense of empowerment, hope, and joy to those served.
