It seemed calculating and troublesome how MHD latched on to Nip to gain more credibility in the South LA community he was elected to represent.
Nip’s business partner, David Gross uploaded a document from Los Angeles City Attorney Mike Feuer that connected why a fence has been erected around the property located at 3420 Slauson Ave aka the home of Marathon Clothing.
The document was dated a month before Nipsey was assassinated and gives more background to the “meeting” he was due to have with LAPD on April 1, 2019. The letter was addressed to Slauson and Crenshaw Ventures LLC and David Gross. Secretary of State filings show Gross as the sole owner of the LLC that owns the property on Slauson and Vector 90 over on Gramercy.
Nipesy’s and his brother’s name are not listed as being owners.
Feuer, who will be running for Mayor of Los Angeles, has attempted to make a name for himself by abating properties by declaring them a nuisance. This is the second in MHD’s district that is located directly at the soon to be opened Metro LAX line.
First, he shut down the Liquor Bank by having their alcohol permit pulled. MHD voted in favor of revoking the permit.

MHD bent over backwards to allow legal sales of marijuana in the community.
Secondly, MHD supported eminent domain on Manchester and Vermont where LA County yanked land from a private owner that has turned into a pseudo flea market.
Is Councilman Marqueece Harris-Dawson publicly praising Nipsey, while privately undermining Nipsey’s efforts pushing for the abatement of his property?
Ironically, the Shell Gas Station, next door to Nipsey’s property, is equally as troublesome but isn’t on the city attorney’s radar for gang activity.
Marqueece Harris-Dawson can’t be trusted to look out for the Black community. On his watch, he is helping to systematically aid in its destruction.
