Ed Memo: Everybody’s Taking the City to Court

WORLD WATCH

CITYWATCH TODAY—Ballot measures and courtrooms. That’s where Angelinos do their city business these days. Because they can’t get anybody at City Hall to represent them. The rules be damned.

Our representatives at City Hall voted 13-0 this week to allow a 74-foot structure in Hollywood … even though the planning and zoning rules … the work of the community … limit building height to less than half of that.

The people get the finger again. And our electeds can’t understand why we’re angry. Why the voters want to toss them out. Check out the Hollywood Target story in today’s CityWatch. That and more. Let us know what you think.

We do listen.
