--- # Mariachi Meets The Smiths Friday, Sep 18 Mariachi Meets The Smiths brings the music of the legendary Manchester band to life through the sound and tradition of mariachi. Presented by the LA Phil, the evening features Mariachi Tierra Mia, performing selections from The Smiths’ catalog with traditional mariachi instrumentation and contemporary arrangements. The program celebrates the enduring cultural connection between The Smiths’ music and audiences in Mexico and Los Angeles.
