> **PALM SPRINGS** — Palm Springs Pride will host “Marilyn 100,” a multi-day celebration honoring what would have been Marilyn Monroe’s 100th birthday, culminating in an attempt to break the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title for the world’s largest gathering of Marilyn Monroe look-alikes.

> Organizers expect more than 1,000 participants and approximately 4,000 spectators as downtown Palm Springs transforms into a celebration of classic Hollywood glamour with platinum wigs, white dresses, live entertainment, vendors, themed activities, and a synchronized martini toast beneath the desert sky.

> The event will also feature “Marilyn’s Boutique,” where volunteers will assist attendees with costumes and wigs, along with live performances and special entertainment throughout the weekend.

> Food vendors, exhibitors, and volunteers are participating in the event, which celebrates Monroe’s lasting connection to Palm Springs and her enduring legacy in popular culture.
