> - Event lasts 3 hours

> With the help of the California Native Plant Society, volunteers will remove invasive mustard and learn about its impact on the ecosystem and why its removal is vital to restoring California's native habitat. Afterward, join San Fernando Valley Audubon Society as they lead nature-filled walks around the Nature Reserve, binoculars provided!

Apple maps if you type in Woodley Park Archers it will take you to the correct location. Please use the image below for reference to where we are. You'll find us at the orange star in the image.

> **Parking:** From i405, exit on Victory Blvd and head west on Victory Blvd. Then, turn left on Woodley Ave and follow the blue line to enter the area. You may park at any of the spaces circled in green. Check in will be at the orange star at the Amphitheater.

> **Where to Meet:** Event check-in will be at the orange star at the Amphitheater.
>
> ***Note:** You are welcome to park at any of the designated parking lots in the area. Do **not** park along the streets or block any entrances as you will get a parking citation.

> Friends of the Los Angeles River (FoLAR) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization established in 1986. We envision a verdant Los Angeles River that supports vulnerable communities in climate adaptation. The River will be transformed into a dynamic, functioning ecosystem that reduces flood risk, cleans the air, cools temperatures, and supports the biodiversity essential to our collective wellbeing. FoLAR builds capacity for communities, students, and future leaders to advocate for nature, climate, and equity on the Los Angeles River.
