They provide direct Neighborhood Council support by interpreting documents and ordinances related to the governance of Neighborhood Councils, developing informal training and group programs to support the growth and development of the System of Neighborhood Councils, and providing individual support for Neighborhood Council board members.  Ideal candidates will have experience with the Neighborhood Council system, but this experience is not required. They will also have strong public speaking skills, a minimum of three years of intensive community organizing experience, and a valid CA license and personal vehicle. Fluency in another language, spatial mapping skills, social media knowledge, and an understanding of the principles of board governance, while not required, are highly desirable.
