> ![](https://www.citywatchla.com/images/stories/Nov-2014/94u.png)LARCHMONT BUZZ-When allegations of sexual harassment of a student by a former teacher arose last spring at Marlborough School, the Board of Trustees formed a Special Investigative Committee to conduct an independent investigation. The Board and Special Investigative Committee retained outside counsel to conduct that independent investigation.

> Last Friday, the school announced the conclusion of this process and results of the final report that was presented to the Board.

> According to the *Los Angeles Times*, the investigation concluded that there was a “pattern of misconduct” by the teacher and “mistakes in judgment” by top school officials, leading to the resignation of the school’s chief administrator.
