Over the last year, the Department of Neighborhood Empowerment slipped itself into a role of a rules enforcer with a no tolerance policy.  This became stressful and confusing for the Project Coordinators who are now overjoyed at the thought of returning to their original roles of being trusted advisors to the Neighborhood Councils.

Once again they will be able to help the Neighborhood Councils before problems arise, as opposed to being the ones who beat the volunteers with sticks when they make an innocent mistake.

Collaboration, partnership, and communication will be the orders of the day.
